Power Lift Chairs & Mattresses for Deer Lodge, MT — 37 miles down I-90

Straight down the interstate.

Thirty-seven miles, all of it I-90. No pass, no two-lane, no surprises. It is the easiest drive of anywhere we serve — which matters more than it sounds if you are bringing someone with you.

Forty minutes down. Thirty minutes on the floor. Forty minutes home.
That is the whole commitment, and it is the reason we push Deer Lodge families harder than most to bring the person who will actually be sitting in the chair. An hour and fifty minutes out of one afternoon is a low price for not guessing.

The thing photos cannot show

Getting out of it.

Every lift chair looks capable in a photograph. What decides whether it works is the moment it puts you on your feet — and that depends on your lower leg length against the seat height, and on whether the lift raises you vertically or tips you forward.

Straight Lift raises you up rather than tipping you out. It can be set locally at no charge on every chair we stock except the Aspen. Mid Lift, a gentler gradual rise, is available on 1 through 4 Zone chairs but not on 5 Zone. Those are trade-offs, and they are decided by watching you stand, not by reading a spec sheet.

The trip, end to end

How the afternoon goes.

  1. You call, or you book onlineTell us who is coming and what is going on. If someone in the party uses a walker or a wheelchair, say so — transfers are the thing we need to test and we will plan the thirty minutes around it.
  2. You drive 37 milesI-90 the entire way. We are at 926 S Arizona Avenue in Butte, about a mile from the pit, with parking at the door.
  3. We measure before you sit in anythingLower leg to the floor, thigh depth, shoulder height, weight. Those four numbers eliminate most of the floor, which is what makes the next twenty minutes bearable rather than exhausting.
  4. You stand up out of two or three chairsRepeatedly. This is the test that matters and the one people skip. If a chair cannot put you on your feet cleanly, nothing else about it is relevant.
  5. You leave with it in writingModel, size, price, on paper, whether you buy that day or not. Take it home to Deer Lodge and compare it against anything you like.

If they cannot make the drive, bring their numbers.

Height, weight, and the measurement from the back of the knee to the floor. Also the width of the space the chair goes in, and how far it can sit from the wall — our chairs run from 30 to 45 inches wide.

Tell us at the booking that they are not coming. We will structure the thirty minutes around getting you back to Deer Lodge with something that will actually fit them, rather than something that looked right in the showroom.

Questions

Coming in from Deer Lodge

Thirty-seven miles on I-90, about forty minutes non-stop. It is interstate the entire way, which is why we call it the easiest run of anywhere we serve.

Yes, and bring the wheelchair. The transfer between the chair and whatever they use to get around is the single most important thing to test, and we cannot test it with a substitute. Tell us at the booking so the floor is clear for it.

Medicare Part B may cover the seat lift mechanism only — never the chair itself. Where it applies it pays 80% of the approved amount after your Part B deductible, and it requires a prescription from your doctor plus form CMS-849. It must be purchased from a Medicare-enrolled supplier, and it is not covered if you are in a skilled nursing facility, hospice or nursing home. That is general information, not a coverage promise. Call us and we will tell you where you stand before you order anything.

The frame warranty is lifetime on both. The electrical components differ: seven years on the American-built models, three years on the imported ones. The American-built chairs are also the only ones offered in Brisa, the performance cover rated to 300,000 double rubs. We will tell you which is which on the floor.

Yes, Deer Lodge is inside our regular delivery area. Options and timing are agreed at the fitting once we know the chair, the room and what has to come out first.
