Mattress Mart Direct collects very little, from one place, and does not sell any of it. This page explains exactly what we take, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect, and where from

There is exactly one place on this website that collects personal information: the Comfort Fitting booking page. No other page on this site captures a phone number, an email address or a name. When you complete that form we collect:

• Your first and last name
• Your mobile telephone number
• Your email address
• What you told us you are looking for, and who else will use it
• Any room measurements or notes you choose to give us
• Whether you gave permission for us to text you, and which kind of messages you agreed to

If you telephone us or come into the store, we may write down the same kinds of details so we can help you.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Text messages

This section matters, so it is set out plainly.

• We only text you if you ticked a box giving us permission. The boxes are never pre-ticked.
• There are two separate permissions. One covers messages about your appointment. The other, which is entirely optional, covers occasional offers. You can give one and not the other.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of buying anything from us.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
• Reply STOP to any message and we will stop. Reply HELP for help, or call us.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number, or your consent to be contacted, with anyone else for their own marketing. No third party gets your number for their purposes.

Why we use it

• To contact you back and agree a time for your Comfort Fitting
• To have the right products on the floor before you arrive
• To confirm and remind you about your appointment
• To follow up afterwards with the written recommendation
• To arrange delivery and after-sales service if you buy something
• To send occasional offers, but only if you separately asked for them

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run the business. They may process your information on our behalf and only on our instructions:

• Our customer relationship and messaging platform, which stores your enquiry and sends the texts and emails
• Our website host
• Manufacturers and delivery carriers, where that is necessary to fulfil an order or a warranty claim you have made

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Beyond that, we do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them to serve you, and records relating to a purchase are kept for as long as the warranty and our tax and accounting obligations require.

Your choices

• Stop texts: reply STOP to any message.
• Stop emails: use the unsubscribe link, or tell us.
• See what we hold, correct it, or ask us to delete it: call (406) 498-6671 or write to us at the address above, and we will deal with it.

You do not need to cite a law to ask. If you ask, we will do it.
