Recliners in Butte, MT — UltraCozy power recliners
Two chairs. Two settings. One room.
The same zero-gravity positioning as our lift chairs, without the lift. For the person who can get up fine and just wants to stop aching by nine o’clock.
A recliner or a lift chair?
It is the one question worth settling before you look at anything, and the answer is not about comfort. It is about whether you can stand up unaided.
- 01Getting out of a chair is hardThen you want a lift chair, not a recliner. It is a different mechanism and it is classified as a medical device. Do not let anyone sell you a recliner for this.
- 02I stand up fine, I just want to stop achingThat is a recliner. Same positioning, same heat and massage options, no lift mechanism to pay for.
- 03It is for two of us, with different needsCommon, and easy. One of each in the same room, matched so they look like a pair.
- 04Not sure yetThen come and try both. Standing up out of each one settles it in about a minute.
The same body, twelve hours earlier.
UltraCozy positions these as recovery furniture rather than lounge furniture — their words are “active recovery from your hectic day,” reducing pressure points and improving circulation.
Which describes exactly the person who came in for a mattress because their back wakes them at two in the morning. It is the same problem in a different chair, and it is why this store sells both.

We measure you, not the chairSeat height against your lower leg, seat depth against your thigh, back height against your shoulders.

Recliners, answered
A lift chair has a powered mechanism that raises you toward standing, and UltraComfort lift chairs are classified by the FDA as Class II medical devices. A recliner has no lift. If standing up unaided is difficult, you want a lift chair — the positioning is similar but the mechanism is the entire point. If you get up fine, a recliner gives you the same comfort without paying for a lift you will not use.
A reclined position that puts your knees above your heart and spreads your weight across the whole chair rather than concentrating it on your lower back. It needs the patented Eclipse Tilt, which is the fifth zone. Both recliners we stock have it. Whether it does anything for you is worth ten minutes in the chair rather than a paragraph on a website.
HeatWave is far infrared, which UltraComfort states penetrates up to three inches into tissue, and they say it may help with inflammation, joint pain and circulation. Nirvana is a Swedish air massage — ten air chambers across more than 500 square inches, with separate zones for lumbar, glutes and hamstrings, running in fifteen-minute cycles. Those are the manufacturer’s descriptions and their hedging, and we will repeat them as such rather than promise you an outcome.
The UC676 is 33 to 33.5 inches wide and the UC677 is 37 to 39. Both need clearance behind them to recline fully. Tell us the width of the space and how far off the wall it can sit when you book, and we will have the ones that actually work on the floor when you arrive.
Brisa is a high-performance cover rated to 300,000 double rubs and cleanable with five parts water to one part bleach, with a limited lifetime performance warranty against cracking, fading and delamination. It is offered on the American-built chairs only, so on the UC676 rather than the imported UC677. It also adds several weeks to the build.
Lifetime on the frame, recline bar and scissor mechanism. One year on fabric, foam, padding and labour. Two years on the Nirvana massage and HeatWave systems. Electrical components are seven years on the American-built UC676 and three on the imported UC677. Exceeding the chair’s rated weight capacity voids the warranty, which is another reason we measure.
